Oboz Sawtooth Low Proven on rocks and roots of the AT and razor peaks of the Idaho/Montana border, the Sawtooth is gaining a cult following. Leather and textile balance the dueling requirements of protection and breathability. The outsole has strategically placed rubber for increased traction and decreased weight over traditional designs. Upper - Durable, breathable protection Offering durable, environmental protection the upper of the Oboz Sawtooth Low is crafted utilising a blend of nubuck leather and abrasion resistant textile. For additional upper durability a highly abrasion resistant textile is integrated within the upper, offering added protection against the bumps and scrapes of the trail road. For added step in comfort the Sawtooth sports a unique, specifically designed insole: The anatomically designed insole maximizes stability and support internally, with a supportive arch and a deep cushioning heel cup. Triple-density EVA throughout provides both cushioning and durability, and a shot of urethane under the metatarsals and heels adds extra protection to high-strike zones. Midsole - Stability, Terrain protection and Cushioning Offering support and cushioning the Sawtooth features a dual density EVA midsole compound, which delivers a great balance between shock alleviation and underfoot support, without adding unnecessary weight. Oboz Footwear is owned and operated by a small group of passionate industry veterans and life-long outdoor enthusiasts. They define themselves by where they live and recreate. Their name comes from "outside Bozeman." Their home base, Bozeman, Montana sits on the northern edge of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem--18 million acres of some of the wildest land in North America. It is here, in the Northern Rocky Mountains, from the Wind River and Teton Ranges to the Bridgers and Spanish Peaks, with incredibly varied geologic features, and abundant wildlife such as grizzly bears, wolves, bison, that Oboz is found. They've adopted the phrase "True to the Trail" as their guiding principle. As a new company, they're faced with direction-changing decisions every day. Filtering all of their decisions through the "True to the Trail" test helps them stay consistent with the vision that led them to create Oboz Footwear.
