Oboz're True to the Trail - every trail. That includes cobblestone alleys in foreign cities, concrete commutes, and the line from Pub A to Z. With the Mendenhall on your feet, you're covered - the downplayed style works for gallery hops and board meetings, while a cotton-poly lining keeps you from losing your cool. Concealing the BFit Insole and toe and heel counters, the Mendenhall offers the support of a hiking boot - in a lightweight package suited to the urban jungle. Bfit Deluxe Insole - A supremmely supportive insole, engineered specifically for Oboz shoes. The Bfit Deluxe Insole stabilizes arches, protects high-impact zones, and cost nothing extra.
Oboz Footwear is owned and operated by a small group of passionate industry veterans and life-long outdoor enthusiasts. They define themselves by where they live and recreate. Their name comes from "outside Bozeman." Their home base, Bozeman, Montana sits on the northern edge of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem--18 million acres of some of the wildest land in North America. It is here, in the Northern Rocky Mountains, from the Wind River and Teton Ranges to the Bridgers and Spanish Peaks, with incredibly varied geologic features, and abundant wildlife such as grizzly bears, wolves, bison, that Oboz is found. They've adopted the phrase "True to the Trail" as their guiding principle. As a new company, they're faced with direction-changing decisions every day. Filtering all of their decisions through the "True to the Trail" test helps them stay consistent with the vision that led them to create Oboz Footwear.
